I knew I needed to lose weight. I wasn’t feeling well, my body felt tired and sluggish, and Marathon Health’s Health History Risk Assessment indicated my condition was an issue. My first step was to visit the Lexmark Health & Wellness Center, where I saw Sheila Washburn, RN.
Sheila has been my rock throughout my journey and has always remained helpful, encouraging, and patient during each coaching session. She truly cares for her patients. She offered sound advice to help me establish healthy habits, identify goals, and reach them! She is realistic, personable, and an incredible asset to me.
With Sheila’s help, I’ve increased the amount I walk, started making better food choices, and have drastically increased my daily water intake. As a result, I’ve lost over 30 pounds and my biometric screening results have significantly improved. I have more energy, my attitude is more positive, and I am better able to concentrate and stay engaged at work.
I am confident I have the knowledge and ability to make choices that help me maintain my great progress, which was not the case in the past. I didn’t get here overnight so I can’t expect the positive transformation to happen overnight either. It takes time, but the journey is well worth it. It’s not about dieting – it’s about staying motivated to make lasting lifestyle changes.
