Dr. Samuel Brown Center Open for Business

The talk of the Lexington, Ky. media today was the opening of the Lexington-Fayette County Urban Government’s new health center for government employees.

The City’s Dr. Samuel Brown Center is the latest clinic operated by Marathon Health. Led by Dr. David French, the clinic’s primary care physician and medical director, the health center is open six days a week and will serve 5,000 of LFCUG’s employees, their dependents, and retirees.

A lot of hard work went into getting the health center up and running today and ready for patients, the first of whom was City of Lexington Mayor Jim Gray. Congrats to everyone from LFCUG, and the Marathon Health team on another successful endeavor.

Below is a story about the health center’s opening from Lexington’s local ABC affiliate.
