Using the tools & services
Here are a few tips to take full advantage of everything we have to offer:
Visit the clinic when you need to
If you’re not feeling well, don’t wait for things to get better—or worse—on their own. The onsite clinic is staffed by a medical professional that can give you something for your allergies, show you how to get rid of that tension headache, or help determine whether it’s a good idea for you to see a specialist.
Get familiar with the eHealth Portal
This tool provides information and resources to get you on track to better health. Rather than surfing through several websites for medical advice, nutrition information, exercise ideas, and health news, log into the eHealth Portal first for the same info plus your own personal health record and plan information. Here’s a brief tour to get started.
Ask questions
If you have a health-related question, don’t be afraid to ask. When it comes to health, there really aren’t any silly questions. Whether it’s a bothersome ache, confusing information you heard on the news, challenges within your exercise plan, or anything else, make an appointment to see the clinician or send a message on your eHealth Portal right away.
Share the program with your family
If your employer allows it, get your spouse or partner involved. Things like eating healthier, exercising, and quitting smoking are much easier when you have support at home. They may also have their own health-related concerns we can help address.
Be patient
It’s rare that positive changes will happen overnight. But in time, maybe even before the scale or blood test shows any changes, you’ll start to feel better. Some days are going to feel downright hard, while others will bring noticeable success that’s worth celebrating. Keep at it – we guarantee that this program works.
