Process and timeline

The steps involved in preparing a fully functional onsite health center for program launch will vary by company, but the process is largely the same. First, we’ll host a kick-off meeting to introduce our account management specialists and members of your team. Right away, we start the ball rolling on compliance measures according to state and federal regulations for medication dispensing and operational licensing. Then, we’ll interview, hire, and train clinical staff with a careful eye toward selecting clinicians whose personalities and backgrounds fit your particular workplace.

Meanwhile, much more is happening behind the scenes: our IT team customizes your HIPAA-compliant technology platform, marketing staff members prepare a full communications plan complete with materials to explain the program to your staff and invite them to get involved;, and our recruitment team finds the staff that fits your needs and culture. Supplies are ordered, systems are tested, and the clinic door finally opens to receive the first patient. The entire process generally takes two to three months depending on recruitment and the facility fit-up that’s needed at your site.

Funding

One of the most common questions we get is how to pay for the program. While some companies have funds budgeted, we understand that many don’t. But consider this: based on annual increases in healthcare costs, your company is going to spend the money next year anyway with no improvements to total population health.
